Winter Solstice Labyrinth Walk

Sunday, December 21, 2025
2-3:30 pm
Labyrinth Garden
FC North
Let’s mark the changing seasons by integrating the body with the mind and spirit.
Arrive at 2 pm to hear information about the history and importance of labyrinths and our connection to them and the difference between solstices and equinoxes; or anytime after 2:30 pm to walk the labyrinth independently, it takes about 30-40 minutes to walk in its entirety.
Labyrinths are used world-wide as a way to quiet the mind, calm anxieties, recover balance in life, enhance creativity, and encourage meditation, insight, self-reflection, and stress reduction.
There is bench seating around the labyrinth to enjoy the ambiance, or feel free to bring your own chair to enjoy the beauty of the morning.
We also have finger labyrinths for anyone with limited mobility who would also like to join us and experience the peaceful morning.
This is a weather-dependent event and will be cancelled if it rains or if it snows a large amount. Registrants will receive an email if we have to cancel prior to 12:30 pm. Please register HERE.
The Winter Solstice for 2025 will occur at 10:03 am EST on Sunday, December 21.
