SUMMARY:Monthly Ministries 4 Movement Marches
DESCRIPTION:Several members of the Racial Equity and Gun Violence Prevention (GVPMT) Ministry Teams participate monthly in a march and worship/information session with members of the Family Missionary Baptist Church and Ministries 4 Movement partners in the South End of Columbus the first Sunday of each month.  First Community is recognized as an official partner of Ministries 4 Movement.  We continue to work with this community and other partners for sustainment and new opportunities to contribute to justice causes.  These marches occur the first Sunday of each month (rain or shine) at 3pm. \nIf interest in attending these events\, please contact: John Girardor for more information\, click HERE.

SUMMARY:Winter Solstice Labyrinth Walk
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, December 21\, 2025\n2-3:30 pm\nLabyrinth Garden\nFC North\n\nLet’s mark the changing seasons by integrating the body with the mind and spirit.\nArrive at 2 pm to hear information about the history and importance of labyrinths and our connection to them and the difference between solstices and equinoxes; or anytime after 2:30 pm to walk the labyrinth independently\, it takes about 30-40 minutes to walk in its entirety. \nLabyrinths are used world-wide as a way to quiet the mind\, calm anxieties\, recover balance in life\, enhance creativity\, and encourage meditation\, insight\, self-reflection\, and stress reduction. \nThere is bench seating around the labyrinth to enjoy the ambiance\, or feel free to bring your own chair to enjoy the beauty of the morning. \nWe also have finger labyrinths for anyone with limited mobility who would also like to join us and experience the peaceful morning. \nThis is a weather-dependent event and will be cancelled if it rains or if it snows a large amount. Registrants will receive an email if we have to cancel prior to 12:30 pm. SUMMARY:Monthly Ministries 4 Movement Marches
DESCRIPTION:Several members of the Racial Equity and Gun Violence Prevention (GVPMT) Ministry Teams participate monthly in a march and worship/information session with members of the Family Missionary Baptist Church and Ministries 4 Movement partners in the South End of Columbus the first Sunday of each month.  First Community is recognized as an official partner of Ministries 4 Movement.  We continue to work with this community and other partners for sustainment and new opportunities to contribute to justice causes.  These marches occur the first Sunday of each month (rain or shine) at 3pm. \nIf interest in attending these events\, please contact: John Girardor for more information\, click HERE.
