Mark is another person who is often considered as a potential Spiritual Searcher for the Center and First Community.\n\nThis 40 minute pre-recorded video lecture on “Heart Work: Being a Spirit in the World” will be followed by time for group discussion of the themes he raises. Discussion facilitated by Rev. David Hett\, Minister of Spiritual Life & Learning. \n\n\nBeloved as a poet\, teacher\, and storyteller\, Mark has been called “one of the finest spiritual guides of our time” and “a consummate storyteller.” His work is widely accessible\, translated into more than twenty languages. He has published 22 books and recorded 15 audio projects. In 2016\, he was named by Watkins: Mind Body Spirit as one of the 100 most spiritually influential living people\, and was also chosen as one of OWN’s SuperSoul 100\, a group of inspired leaders using their gifts and voices to elevate humanity.
